Kathy Bushnell, MSW, is a musician/songwriter and member of ASCAP. Her early ballet lessons at Joffreys, classical piano studies, and performances with a modern dance troupe gave her a creative spirit—and reverence for the arts. By the time she enrolled at New York City’s School of Performing Arts, Kathy had been writing songs for several years. She was also an Anglophile and die-hard rock ‘n’ roll aficionado. To top things off, her maternal grandmother had been a Suffragette. So, it wasn’t surprising that, at the age of nineteen, Kathy was living in London and had co-founded Emily Muff, the First Female Rock Duo in Britain.
